time for another blog
well yes, iv been thinkin about peoples differents opinions lately and how people from different cultures have different opinions for certain reasons. it is our human nature to think our way of doing something, especially when it has been done in our society for years and years is the best way of doing it. while learning so much about other cultures this semester iv sometimes think that the way other cultures live would be much more peaceful and right. dont get me wrong, i love my country but i dont always think that money, power, and oil are the most important things in the world ,rather things like family, culture, history and being united seem more important to me. these feeling have had me interested in the new los rios study abroad program. until next time, im trying to get out of here:)

I agree with you completely. I think America has a superiority complex that doesn't allow us to recognize what other cultures have going for them. It would be nice if we could learn from them when it comes to certain things.
ReplyDeleteI encourage you to do a study abroad program. That is the one regret I have about my college years. I wish I had spent asemester in England, but I let money, and moreso nervousness, keep me from doing so. Once you are out of college, you don't get opportunities like that. Do it!
